PRESS ; Sir we have been hearing about fourthman drama ministry here in ondo state please can you tell us the history of fourthman drama?

Mr Adesola ; Thank you. fourth man drama ministry aka. chosen vessel is an interdenominational drama team. the ministry was organize by the leading of the holy spirit. Fourth man is not a one man ministry. we started the ministry FEBRUARY 2016
we started few and now i can say God is adding to us spiritually and numerically. F.M.D.M for now is still a campus base drama group, since we are in the same university the work has been great. we have not arrived but we thank God for what we have survived

Mr Adesola: We have been graced to minister in churches in okitipupa ondo state and lectures has been nice. its balance

PRESS: looking at 5years from now where will fourthman be what will be there achievement?

Mr. Adeshola: wow i love that question by the grace of God we will produce multi movies and also a drama institute for upcoming xtian ministers

Mr Adesola: fuel the fire is a campus. its a time to surrender all you have go for Jesus an atmosphere of worship, prayer, drama, and the word. Those of us who perform music in corporate worship play a key role in any service. We set the atmosphere and our Impact is intense as you know that music reaches people's hearts without their permission. Its therefore essential we have substance and depth and be Sound in what we do.
As you step up stage to lead, be deliberate about what you say, especially your PRELUDES. If you want to quote a scripture, be sure its a scripture and not a general saying. For example "When praises go up, blessings come down" is not a scripture. It sounds cool and its true but it's not a scripture. "The shouting side is the winning side" is not a scripture either. In trying to spur people on we end up getting sensational and say some things .
You can say them if you want but just don't add the prefix "The Bible says". Study so you can arm yourself with scriptures for the stage. Also sometimes you don't need scriptures as prelude. Just knowing what to say to connect with people can do the work. At times identifying with what they are going through, being "touched by the feelings of their infirmities" as it were and encouraging them with reasons to worship can do the work.
People wanna worship but they are also human and maybe tired and hurting. Being human for a second with them, meeting them where they are and taking them where you want will work many times.

That since 1951 till date, church people still think Worship is the slow version of praise and Praise is the fast version of Worship. I'm still perturbed when I speak to folks and one calls himself a worshiper because he loves slow pieces and has mastered the art of emotions with ballads and the other calls himself a praise leader because he knows how to raise the roof and scatter the place. I still Wonder why we say Worship is not about the style of music yet our concerts say something else.

Listen, if you see any church where there's a mighty move of God, watch it THEY MUST BE SINGING THE RIGHT SONGS.
The songs you sing in your Choir determines the atmosphere you experience, the development of the Choir, the experience of the audience, the testimonies and manifestations you will see. Selection of songs, arrangement of songs and writing of songs are things every choir must take serious. You make it priority. You don't wait till last minute to choose songs. You don't just sing any Song that comes to mind. You have to carefully select them. The songs must cut straight in, lyrics and melody must be on point, the arrangement must be excellent, the leads must deliver, the message in the songs must interpret the theme you're passing across.
Great singers but poorly selected songs will make you wonder why you have so many talents and potentials in your choir but you seem not to be touching the skies. However singing the right songs with the right arrangements will make any choir look like a genius.

No choir is perfect so long there are human beings there.
If you leave your present choir to join another one because of friction, I say to welcome to another friction zone. To think a choir has no issue they deal with is to think a Man and his wife never have issues. What matters is the foundation and how we deal with issues. In other words..PACKAGING..
That being said if you're the one always complaining that people are stepping on your toes in the Choir, then you are the one with the problem I don't care how sweet your tongues are.. Work on your love walk..

Why every Choir Should Increase their Rehearsals Annually.

Hi Music Teams.
I'll just go straight to the point.
Any choir that doesn't value rehearsals will gradually reduce in value. Rehearsals are the training camps for every team. That's where we arm ourselves, build our music ministry muscles and develop skill.
As you begin to get better as a choir it's important you don't have a sense of arrival where you think you can now reduce your rehearsals since "you have paid your dues".
Indolence will not sustain the results that diligence produced. If you got here by hard work, then you will be sustained by hard work.. The feeling of relaxation is one every choir must fight against. Begin to have bigger visions once you conquer your first mountain. Maybe there's something you thought you couldn't do as a choir but now you have done it, move to the next level. Set a bigger dream. If you don't work harder, over time you will reduce in efficiency.
So make it a plan to increase your rehearsal intensity  year. What makes us good as a team are our processes not the swag or social media paparazzi. There is more to be achieved. None of us can claim to be there yet. So plan to do more songs, try more creative stuffs, stretch yourselves beyond comfort zones this year and every year..
Music teams..let's do better.

Encounter

Men dominate their word Nd men dominate the forces of darkness through encounter.

What Is Encounter?
Encounter is a supernatural experience that makes a dimension of God real to you.
There is no encounter without hunger.

For example, as a chorister who sings in d house of God, by d tym Ure called out to minister Nd u start to call different names of God, king of kings, lord of lords...., without encountered u can't feel the song, reason is dat d chorister himself/herself must av encountered God to av known him as d king of kings in her secret place bfor sharing her experience through dat song.

We have two dimensions of encounter
1) Visionary encounter
2) Direct encounter with God.

Looking into d visionary encounter, David is a good example, David as an experience (fighting with a lion) bfor he fought Goliath.

Looking into direct encounter, Moses is a good example, he sees God (peniel).

When you don't av an encounter with God u will be confused. The bible says "I know who believe and I am persuaded", there can be lot of rhema, Greek words but little encounter.

Your encounter are tested in place of challenges, Jeremiah 29:11, if u read this without being encountered it will be as if God is lieing bcus it won't cum to pass without encounter.

Most of our youth today av no encounter, we need encounter, we must cry for encounter, when you catch the dimensions of Jesus as ur Savior, u cannot fear anything. Examples, Abraham,Gideon,Elijah,Moses,Lazarus, Woman with the issue of blood.

What divine encounter does to you:
* produces conviction- Nation look christianity as interruptions to corruption, conviction is more than having faith in God.
Be outspoken about ur conviction. An unbending resolves to walk in his ways (Romans 8:35).

Progression of Encounter:
* Time- Encounter starts with time. God trains u in d secret bfor being outstanding in Gospel.
* Self control- You speak as d spirit leads not as u see.

FUEL THE FIRE

Likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26 includes one of the most surprising truths of Scripture. When we are weighed down by life’s heavy burdens, there are times when we don’t even know how to pray. Yet in these moments, “the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” Wow! In the mystery of God’s triune nature, the very Spirit of God prays for us. And these prayers include wordless groanings.

Here is wonderful news for us. When you don’t know how to pray, the Spirit of God is there to help. When you run out of words, God understands your wordless sighs. When all you have to bring before God are your tears, he can read the meaning of each one. Moreover, as amazing as it sounds, the triune God is praying with you, through you, and even for you. God enters into the brokenness of our world and our lives, sharing even in our groaning.

Have you ever experienced God’s help while you were praying? When? How do you respond to the amazing truth that the Spirit of God prays for you?

MUSICIANS...
I believe its totally Untrue and Erroneously misguiding (pardon me if these are wrong adjectives) to say that Church Music, Choir music or what is considered Gospel music is full of mediocrity. I listen to radio a lot recently and I can say that in terms of lyrics, content and production there are a million and ten Gospel sounds that will match and beat most of the stuff you get to hear on radio. I agree that not all Choirs are excellent I agree that not all Church music is up to the standard. I also agree that many "gospel" acts are not excellent at all. But its the same with all fields of life. You all find the good and the ugly. There are lots of junk and whack songs that's trending on radio and TV due to promotion and also because of many factors I won't mention today.
That being said, if all you see is bad music, mediocre choir, badly-written lyrics with no substance or substandard production then CHANGE YOUR COMPANY. If you are flying at Eagle levels you won't see the mess of the chickens. Excellence is what I strive at every day. I don't for one day assume I'm there. I keep pushing it. Gas pedal all day baby. We don't stop till the Master says Well done, Good and Faithful Servant.
So stop saying Gospel is whack. No its your circle that's whack. Change it. I have many great choirs I watch. I see artists drop dope songs always. Excellent producers are everywhere. I don't see mediocrity. All I see is excellence. I stay away from mediocrity with all my might. I am deliberate about who I roll with and what I feed myself on as a Musician.
Yeah there's still work to be done but its not that bad. Some people just don't have a taste for Gospel so they run it down.
Its happening. The video directors are arising. Gospel is getting bigger than just praise and Worship. The love songs are coming out. The songs that will change the world are coming out. Even our Praise and Worship music is going to a whole new dimension that will shock the world. The Hallelujah Challenge in June was just a trailer.

Celebrity Profile

Joshua Peters is a 100-L Dramatic Arts Student. He starred as Bayo in the Alfa Sule blockbuster “take heed”. He shares his stardom experience as well as the troupe’s most challenging time.
Can we know about you?
I’m the son of a single parent and probably the husband (laughs). I had my primary and secondary education in Ibadan.
When did your acting career start?
It started when I was two years old, it’s just this type of role that you will be requested to go up and say your mom is not around. Though I can’t recollect when, but I was told that while I was growing,  I acted with the elders in church. Let’s say I rededicated myself to it in year 2000.
So, we correctly say that your acting career is close to 12 years?
Okay! If you say so
What’s been your driving force?
My driving force is purely evangelism. You see I’m not disputing the fact that preaching and sermons are effective but I have come to realize that drama is the best evangelism tool that we have not utilized. Were you to ask someone the topic of the message the pastor preached last week, he might probably not remember but ask him the title of the movie he watched of 5 years ago, he will correctly recollect. I think what people see when we act sticks longer. Even acting preaches what the Pastor says but in a way more practical.
How did you join Alfa Sule?
What actually happened was that I was already in a church drama group before I joined Alfa Sule in 2005. I was already acting on stage and I cannot stop now that the lord has helped the glory to burst forth, there are still a lot of invitations from churches to present dramas. We still do much of stage drama and I do directing alone, probably if I just can be jack of all trade.
Do you encounter challenges along the line?
There are really no challenges. God is by our side because we believe that in him, every mountain is made low but at times you might just get to a place that is filled with such a crowd and you are like waoh! But I don’t get scared anyway. There have been no challenges except maybe the time some other faith adherents terrorized us.  Though at that time, everybody was afraid but I don’t really see them as a challenge.
You said you were terrorized? Is it because of the name Alfa Sule?
Yea! Something like that but that’s all I can divulge.
What’s ‘Alfa Sule’ up to now?
Actually, people mistake the name for one person but it is actually a troupe. The original name is Christ Chosen Vessels Drama Ministry but it was our fans who nicknamed it “Alfa Sule” because they felt the original name was too long. So it is everybody in the group that is actually referred to as “Alfa Sule”. We are up to a lot of things, because we have a bright future. Where we are going cannot be spoken. I am telling you the fact. God has planned on taking us throughout the whole world. I believe that through “Alfa sule”, places that are ignorant of Christ and Christianity will get to know him. There are places that I have not been to but they will call you to tell you, we have watched your CD. Gradually gradually as it spreads we believe God that the Kingdom of Hell will be depopulated and the Kingdom of Heaven will increase.
What’s your say on the secularization of your slogan “O ti gan Pa”?
Personally, I think it happens because God is with us and two, the uniqueness. Anything God does, people rebrand to copy it, it is grace and it yields fruits to the kingdom. Even Jesus had a lot of people who wanted to copy him. It’s just an evidence of the hand of God.
Is it true that the troupe was taken to court of the name ‘Alfa Sule”?
That’s a huge question. God helped us in settling everything.
Were you scared at being sued?
Yes! We were o! the threat was much. Our accusers had enforcement from Lagos but the challenge was based mainly in Ibadan. It was too much that that my Oga was scared of going out but God just spoke. He is said he is the master planner of our destiny so there is no one that can truncate it no matter how much they try.

Can you please introduce yourself to the  audience?

Ajewole: My name is Oluwafemi Ajewole. I’m the president of Christ Chosen Vessel Dance Drama Ministry a.k.a Alfa Sule. I was born in Ibadan. I schooled in Ibadan and I’m into dance drama ministry.

What prompted you into drama ministry?

Ajewole: Well, I believe each and every one of us is born with gift given by God. Right from when I was young, I just saw that it’s one of the gift/talent that God gave to me. You know God gave some people 5 talents, some 3 and some 2, and on and on like that. But I discovered that one of the gifts God gave to me is drama and likewise singing. I was a member of the choir in church for year and likewise I was in the drama group in church. What we are in now is dance /drama i.e. singing and dancing and then acting together with it.

What brought the idea of dance drama?

Ajewole: Yes, that is true, dance drama has been in existence, but the kind of dance drama that we know when we were very young was that they don’t talk when it comes to dance drama. The audience just get what they are saying through their actions and demonstration. But there is a concept, so that is why we called our own modern dance drama. What really prompted this was when I was working in a school years back, of which I happened to be a teacher in that school and during the end of the year party; we are the one that will teach our children what they will present that particular year. I was in-charge of drama then and so after teaching  the students drama for like 4-5days and I saw no improvement because they were very young, like you are asking a primary 5 student to act as a father to a primary 1 student and there is no talking or voicing, so I tried working on their action and their voice and it did not work, then God brought something to my mind that I should voice for them and they act what I am voicing and I just felt like it will be too boring and why not introduce beat, so I was using their table to play the beat and it also helped the pupils memorise and understand things faster and it made everything very interesting to the children. During the end of the year party, the street was very full and people were surprised at the performance. From there, I gained admission into polytechnic and totally forgot about it until one day while we were waiting for a lecturer someone just suggested that not all of us will come out and be successful in this electrical engineering we are studying and something just struck my mind that why not use my gift as a ministry. That day, when I got home, I called my brother and shared my vision with him and from there we started the ministry. And that was how we started it.

Can you please shed more light on your academics and your career?

Ajewole: Actually after gaining admission and studying electrical engineering in polytechnic, I discovered that it was only the theoretical aspect I was able to cope with very well, you study, write exams and pass but I found out I was having problem in the practical aspect and this was  what made me key into what that student said.

I have noticed that in today's CHRISTIANITY , we carefully know the scriptures to ATTACK each other, to unnecessarily want to bring someone to realising they don't know what you know...

God doesn't want you to show how DEEP you are by ARGUMENT , HE  wants you to SHOW it by your FRUITS - #selah

The reasons why He gave us the SCRIPTURES is to LIVE by it not FIGHT over it...
Don't EXHIBIT the knowledge you claim you have on argument.  There are SOULS out there who doesn't EVEN KNOW what the SCRIPTURES IS nor SAYS and needs someone to explain to them.

I watch UNBELIEVERS mock over SPIRITUAL ARGUMENT..  If you must ARGUE let it be SENSIBLE ...

MIRACLES - (Part 1)
MIRACLE is the RESULT or OUTCOME of your FAITH.

Miracle is NOT what happens by your works, It's not what your capacity can pull it's what your faith can PULL.

MIRACLES most times doesn't happen as planned because it's not supposed to be PLANNED. when you start planning or suggesting on how Miracle is meant to happen then you are obviously prolonging the happening of such MIRACLES.

MIRACLES is just like planting a tree and expecting it to root up in some weeks and it doesn't happen as PLANNED.  Not because principalities are at work, it's because it's God's ways and they are unsearchable.

I remember when we needed money for a particular projects.  We spoke to someone and we concluded that before the next week, we probably would have done what we needed to do. But funny enough that was US speaking not GOD.  GOD wanted it to delay so it can be USEFUL.  Most times when miracles happens the way we fathom, we don't give it much appreciation because it's something we can explain.  MIRACLES CAN'T BE EXPLAINED!!

EACH time a MIRACLES happens, it is HEAVY, SURPRISING, UNEXPECTED AND POWERFUL because it's coming to meet a particular need which might already be resulting to mockery or shame..

As powerful as the word sounds, it also needs process. As much as GOD doesn't need you to do anything for HIM to make miracles happen, he also need you to TRUST HIM .

That MIRACLE has not happened maybe because it's not the right time.. Miracles has its time.
Maybe because it has not seen a DEMAND.  PLACE A DEMAND ON YOUR FAITH
Most times we expect MIRACLES  because we mumbled, we murmured.  It doesn't happen like that.  Most times, it happens by the little demonstration of our little faith!!!

We don't need all of God to get something happen!!  A LITTLE of Him we can put to WORK is ENOUGH !!

I see a miracle happen for you!!

SELLING THE GOSPEL
Lately, arguments have gone up on the matter of PRICING the Cross or EXPLOITING the Cross.
Some Gospel music ministers will say, they will Make the CD expensive and give free download link. Some will say, they will put price on the download and give CD's out for free.

But WHAT IS THE TRUTH itself as regards this?
Somebody said "Its not necessary to sell our Gospel songs because our primary aim is to minister to people not for private gain". Another person said "I personally feel if you're making music for the propagation of the gospel, and to reach out to souls, then why restrict the number of people that could/would get blessed by involving a price tag?,

Then, IT'S NO MORE THE GOSPEL!.
Below are some reasons as stated by people we interviewed as regards  their opinions on this subject.

REASONS WHY WE SHOULD NOT SELL THE GOSPEL.

1. If we all claim to walk in Jesus trail, then is there a place in the bible where Jesus charged the people money for the gospel he preached or for healing them?
If there isn't, then we should not sell GOSPEL.

2. The mandate given is "GO into the world and PREACH ye the GOSPEL" not "GO into the world and SELL ye the GOSPEL. If God has given you the privilege to work for him then it's HIS responsibility to supply all your needs according to HIS RICHES in GLORY. As also it is your responsibility to supply the needs of the Children you called to life.

3. Even when we don't monetize GOSPEL songs, a lot of people still find it difficult to download one Gospel song in a day rather would they prefer downloading thousand secular songs.
So it doesn't help situation when you monetize the Gospel.

Your gift is not for your self, it is for crying souls who are on their way to hell and needs redemption....We are all supposed to REDEEM the many NOT Perish with the many because of our GREED and Dissatisfaction.

We are not merchants raised to make money, WE ARE SERVANTS SENT TO SAVE LIVES for JESUS CHRIST!.

INDECENT DRESSING IN THE CHURCH
Indecent dressing is prohibited in the church

I have been to so many churches where indecent dresses is a way of showing how learned and rich THEY are..

I have also seen churches where their choir members put on seductive wears all in the name of A SLAY MAMA...

I went to a church to minister lately and while ministering, I looked up and realised the lady sitting IN FRONT of me was almost naked.  I immediately changed my direction and decided to stay glued to the new position..

Anointing can be affected if it's POLUTED.
I realized the reason why we have few people who would come to church because they want to be touched of the Lord or blessed is because the CHURCH has lost her SANITY to the THINGS of the world.

The church has turned to a place where MINI nude appearance is seen..  You don't have to search for nude pictures again. The church has made all nudes abound richly.

I wonder the salvation we really want people to see,  when our church is surrounded by those who are naked and claim they have DEPTHS!! it is a common thing now to see the cleavage and the dividing lines of the buttocks of a lady opened without remorse!!

How are the mighty falling in battle!!  Today we hear this PASTOR did this and that.  Why won't it happen when we seduce ourselves stylishly in the name of DRESSING to  taste!

I went to a church and the choir was ministering, they were all putting on a suit trouser that is so TRANSPARENT and CLINGY .  The congregation started humming and saying their cloth is too tight men..

Please lets be the SALVATION we PREACH, people no longer READ scriptures they read YOU..
DON'T wait to hear a dressing is BAD APPLY your SENSES they are not there for fashion!!!
Check the REASON why GOD is always present in the fore-churches and I will tell you the damage blind fashion has done to the church

Till our righteousness supersedes THAT of the PHARISEES and SADDUCEES, we only practising RELIGION!!

Journey Map

God is taking you through the next face of your life...  It's a JOURNEY only you need to go through..  It's too narrow that friends, family members and colleagues can't go there with you...

I bet, It has not been easy changing convenient status, letting go of your own primary goal and forgetting about those who ain't in the NEW scene  but you love. 

Where THEY feel you are a dumb for not taking the paths they want you too or  your mate are walking into only because you heard him say be STILL..  You have to wait till it's in the NEW PICTURE to make those decisions. You wish they could see the RED light in the SPIRITUAL
Where your family members think you are wasting time not knowing you are waiting on God.
You obviously can't see a hope in WAITING, Hope in the NEW FUTURE. But you just  trust God for something you ain't sure of.

Hear this - - - When you start a journey, you and whosoever is sending you to that journey has the map to the road.  Most times,  the one ordering the JOURNEY has a better understanding of the MAP NOT YOU nor the Passer byes!!  #selah

The path to the CROSS

I had always wondered about the cross and I will be sharing what God helped me to realise.
I have been to shoprite etc and I realized that after your purchase, you will have to go and pay.  When i get to the PAYING Stand, I realized that we have almost 4 or more PAYING stands and all you have to the is join the queue and PAY..

I have not heard of anyone says because the queue is long, he won't be paying.  You can choose to leave your position and join another stand but all that matters most is you must pay!

The same is the CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST.  The CROSS has 4 path. It doesn't matter which of the path you ARE, what matters is getting to the CENTER of the CROSS.

The CENTER is not EMPTY , the movement from the beginning to the CENTER  might seem TIRING, might carry so much PAIN, HURTS, DISAPPOINTMENTS but alas!  The CENTER isn't empty. There is always a reward for getting to the center of the CROSS!

WE might have different doctrines, from different churches bringing us to almost practice RELIGION but all those doesn't matter at all.  All that matters is making sure you get to the CENTER of the CROSS!

WE might fall short of God's grace each time, each moment but that doesn't matter at all.  All that matters is making sure you get to the CENTER of the CROSS!

WE might fight WEAKNESSES and struggle with FLESH. That doesn't matter at all.  All that matters is making sure you get to the CENTER OF THE CROSS!

When you get to the Center, there is only one PERSON that matters and that IS JESUS..
He is never worried about the direction you took to get to HIM.
He is not worried about the kinda of life you lived in the past
He is not worried of that terrible life you live now.

HE is worried about you finding a path out of the 4 PATHS to get to Him.

Don't be TIRED OF GETTING to the CENTER OF THE CROSS  because that is where HE died to give

SALVATION
PERFECTION
REDEMPTION
RELATIONSHIP ETC

FINALLY, find your path to the CENTER OF THE CROSS!!! Nobody will do for you.  It's a personal discovery!!

Till we realize that we CAN'T SERVE HIM with our own power then HE helps us!!!

I've seen many drama teams with plenty steam, plenty shouting and so much activity but no meaningful result. I know we all have times and seasons and some may be in their dark season. But it's important we know the most important things and do them.
Any Team that lacks structure will not last. Spirit alone don't make a team thrive. If all you have is so much spiritual gymnastics but not attention to details, you will miss out on a lot. It takes structure to sustain the Glory. Why? Glory has WEIGHT not just GLAMOUR.

Romans 10:4(NLT). For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
“What then was the purpose of the Law? It was added [later on, after the promise, to disclose and expose to men their guilt] because of transgressions and [to make men more conscious of the sinfulness] of sin; and it was intended to be in effect until the Seed (the Descendant, the Heir) should come, to and concerning Whom the promise had been made. And it [the Law] was arranged and ordained and appointed through the instrumentality of angels [and was given] by the hand (in the person) of a go-between [Moses, an intermediary person between God and man].” (Gal. 3:19 AMP).
Through the body of Christ, the born-again believers have become dead to the Law and thus discharged or delivered from the Law. As a believer in Christ, you are no longer expected to live under the Law or in subject to the old written regulations of the Old Covenant. Your worship, service or giving to God should no longer be regulated or determined by the letter, the old written code, or regulations of the Old Testament.
If the born-again believers are no longer expected to live by the Law, walk with God, worship and serve God, or give to God according to the specifications or regulations of the Law, how then should they live, worship, serve, and walk with God?
